Resumen del manual

Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Server Core (x64)

Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V (x64)
RAID Manager 1.31.3 or later is required with HP XP Cluster Extension 6.02.00.
Languages
International English
Enhancements
This release includes support for new generation XP7 disk arrays.
Fixes

Highly available VMs that are hosted on a CSV disk can be managed by the CLX VM
Management resource if required. These VMs are continuously monitored by the CLX VM
Management resource to check if the VM hosted CSV disk has moved across the data centers,
so that, corresponding VMs can also be live migrated along with the CSV disk. As part of this
continues monitoring, there is a memory leak. This issue has been completely fixed in this
version.

If you are trying to configure CLX resource private proprieties either using the CLX Resource
Configuration Tool or using the Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager [MMC-SnapIn GUI] in a
Microsoft Failover cluster having 32 or more Cluster nodes, the Configuration Tool or the
Failover Cluster manager GUI crashes. This issue has been fixed in this version.
Prerequisites

Windows Server 2008 only: In certain situations, resources do not follow the Preferred Owners
List order during failover. See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article KB950181 for more
information.

A physical disk resource may unexpectedly fail or go offline when the IsAlive function is run
on a Windows Server 2008 cluster node. See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article KB953652
for more information.

Immediately after installing HP XP Cluster Extension, bringing a resource online might fail with
the error Create process to execute command "horcmstart instance" failed.
This error occurs because the RAID Manager environment path variable value is not reflected
for the HP XP Cluster Extension resource. If you experience this problem, restart the cluster
service on the affected cluster node. After you restart the cluster service, this error message
will not appear again.

After installing CLX, the RAID manager related path environment variable value does not get
updated to CLX in the Server Core and Hyper-V server environments. To workaround this issue,
either re-login to the Windows session of the cluster nodes or reboot the cluster nodes.

To enable use of the HP OpenView AutoPass GUI, install the Java Runtime Environment (Java
SE Release families 1.6.0 or later) and set the path environment variable for java.exe.
