CAUTION:
If you want to upgrade an existing HP StoreOnce installation, always use the software
update from www.hp.com/support/downloads; do not use the QR ISO image.
The Quick Restore process will delete all stored data and configuration settings returning your product
to factory default settings.
1.
Browse to the HP StoreOnce Backup System page on Software Depot at: www.hp.com/go/
storeonceqr.
2.
Select the QR ISO image appropriate to your product and software version and follow the
instructions to download it. You will be required to sign in with HP Passport, which can be created
when you first access the site.
3.
Create the physical QR media.
Use the HP USB Key Utility for Windows to copy the ISO image to a USB key using a Windows
PC. The HP USB Key Utility for Windows can be found at: www.hp.com. Search on HP USB Key
Utility and be sure to select version 1.7.0 or later. You may need to display the Revision History
tab to locate the download.
IMPORTANT:
HP recommends that you label the new media for ease of identification.
Using the Quick Restore image
The Quick Restore image is to only be used under guidance from HP Support. It is not required for
normal operation of the product.
Contact HP Support for instructions on using the Quick Restore image. You will also find information
in the HP StoreOnce Backup system Maintenance and Service guide for your appliance.
