Choose a good, cleared assembly area and get a friend to help you put your grill together. Lay cardboard down to protect grill finish and assembly area. A'k CAUTION! Some parts may contain sharp edges. Wear protective gloves if necessary. Step 1 Assemble bottom cart (Item #26) shelf and right side cart (Item #20) panel by using two M6 X 12mm bolts and star washers (hand tighten only at this point). Step 2 Assemble bottom cart shelf and left side (Item #19) cart panel by using two M6 X 12mm bolts and star washers. Tighten all four M6 X 12mm bolts at this time. Step 3 Attach loop strap bracket (Item #25) onto bottom cart shelf by using two M6 X 12mm bolts. Try to minimize the stress to the bottom plate. Step 5 Attach locking casters (Item #27) to the bottom of the left side cart panel. Tighten caster bolts securely using hex nut wrench provided in parts card. Step 6 Install the wheels (Item #30) as illustrated, by inserting the wheel axle bolts through the wheels (Item #30), washers and right side panel axle holes. Tighten axle bolts securely using hex nut wrench provided in parts card. Step 7 Snap wheel hub caps (Item #29) onto the outside of wheels as Hubcap illustrated. C C C C Grease _ Heat Shield Plate / i Cup Heat Plate Siield I I I Step 11 Attach heat shield plate (Item #24) and front panel to the front of the cart frame assembly using two M6 X 12mm bolts with star washers. Step 12 Attach heat shield plate (Item #24) to the back of the cart frame assembly using two M6 X 12mm bolts with star washers. Step 13 Place grease cup (Item #18) in middle of hole in heat shield plate. / Note: When performing Step 14, Lift grill body from front and rear panels to avoid injury to hands and fingers. Be sure to pass hose/regulator assembly above cart frame crossbar. Step 14 With the help of a friend, place grill body assembly on assembled cart frame. Grill body will rest on angled top of vertical supports. Align bolt holes located on the outside of the grill body assembly. Secure using four M6 X12mm bolts with star washers. [ o ........--Grill Body Assembly / !' _ C;Z:22222;2_ • C2:2:2::;;_2;_ Side Table Front Panel Side Table Step 15 Attach the side table front panel (Item #13) to side table (Item #12) with two M5 x 10mm. / • Side Burner Side Burner i_--Front Panel \\ ® / ® Step 16 Attach the side burner front panel (Item #17) to side burner base (Item #16) with two M5 x 10mm. Step 17 Attach the side table assembly to the left cart frame (Item #19). Insert two M6 x 12mm bolts into both left legs halfway. Place table over bolts and slide toward front of grill, then tighten securely. Fasten side table front panel to grill body with one M6 X 12MM bolt. Step 18 Attach the side burner assembly to the right side of the grill body. Insert two M6 x 12mm bolts into both right legs halfway. Place side burner assembly over bolts and slide toward front of grill, then tighten securely. Fasten side burner front panel to grill body with one M6 X 12mm bolt. Step 19 Attach the hose heat shield (Item #28) to the right cart frame (Item #20) using two #8 self-tapping screws. Step 20 Remove two screws and washers from the side burner valve. Insert the side burner valve assembly through the hole in the side burner front panel (Item #16), then firmly seat the valve nozzle into the burner venturi. Hold in place while you perform Step 23. Warning: Never use your grill without leak testing all gas connections and hoses. See the section on "Leak Testing" in this manual for proper procedures. Be_ Electrode ® Step 21 Place the bezel (Item #22) over the control knob (Item #21) mounting stem and position over holes in side burner base and side burner valve assembly. Attach with two M4 bolts with lock washers which come with valve. Then install the side burner control knob (Item #21) onto valve stem. Step 22 Attach side burner igniter lead wire to the electrode as illustrated. Step 23 Insert grease tray (Item #8) into opening on backside of grill.
