Sort Order Setshowtoarrangethe cell-phone phonebook. First: Arranges in the order of first name. Last (Default): Arranges in the order of last name. Key Word Registers thevoiceto this unit and usesto recognize phone number category. SeeKey word voice registration (P.65). Echo Cancel Level Adjusts the level of echo cancellation. Default is“15”. Microphone Level Adjuststhe sensitivityofthetelephone microphone.Defaultis“2” /“8” . Noise Reduction Level Reduces the noises generatedbysurrounding environment without changing the microphonevolume. Use this setting when the voiceof callerisnot clear.Defaultis“15” /“4” . [Restore] Resets the settingsto the default settings. Return to the Top page Bluetooth Operation SMS (Short Message Service) You can use SMS function. Touch [SMS] in the Hands Free screen. 1 SMS Select screen appears. Select desired function from the list. 2 [Create Message] Createsa message. For details,seeCreating a new message (P.62). [Received Message List] Displays thereceived message list. [Sent Message List] Displays the sent message list. [Draft] Displays the newest draftmessage.Thiskey becomes active when anymessage has been created after turning power on. Enters a space Touch [Space] at desired position. Touch [Send]. 5 The message is sent. NOTE • Anewvoicetag cannotberegisteredif thereare 35registeredvoice tags.In that case,[Record]is deactivated. • Touching[Play]plays thevoiceregisteredin the selectedPhonebook file. • Touching[Delete]deletes thevoice tagregistered in currently selectedPhonebook file.Afteryou touch[Delete],a confirmation message appears. Follow the message and completethe operation. Say the name within 2 seconds after a beep and touch [Record]. (1st try) 4 Say the name again within 2 seconds after a beep. (2nd try) 5 If successful the message appears and the voice registration ends. NOTE • Amessage appearsif thevoiceis notrecognized.
