If unit receives a radio signal, the display will flash ten times to show the reception frequency and then it will continue to seek up another radio signal until you stop the scanning (press SCAN button again) or you store the radio signal into the preset memory (hold any one of number button 1-6 for more than 1sec). 17. EQ BUTTON At anytime, press EQ button to select the desired sound effect among FLAT CLASSIC, ROCK and POP. 18. RESET BUTTON If the unit is in malfunction or hang-up, you may press RESET button to resume it with a pointed object such as ballpoint pen. NOTE: Electronic Shock Protection function (ESP) When operating the unit in CD mode at first time, insert the disc (labeled side up) to CD loading slot and then disc will be played automatically. To press STOP button and then press ESP button, the display will show ESP icon, now the unit entered in ESP ON. To turn off the ESP function, repeat the above operation.
