Using adifferent voltage rating power adaptor may damage this ATA. • Do not use this ATAin high humidity or high temperatures. • Do not open or repair the case yourself. Connecting Your VoIP ATA 1. Power off your network devices, including your modem and PC. 2. Connect one end of an RJ. 11 phone cable to the Phone Adapter’s PHONE 1 port. Connect the other end toyour analog telephone or fax machine as shown below: 3. Connect one end of an Ethernetnetwork cable to the LAN port of theATA. Connectthe other end to theEthernet port of your PC. 4. Connect one end of a different Ethernet network cable to the WAN port of the ATA. Connect the other end toyour cable/DSLmodem as shown in below figure 5. Power on the cable/DSLmodem. 6. Connect the included power adapter to the ATA’s power port, and then plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. The power LED on the front panel will light up as soon as the Phone Adapter powers on. 7. Power onyour PC. Make sureyour PC’s Ethernet adapter is set to obtain anIP address automatically. NOTE: Wait until the POWER, LAN and WAN LED's turngreen and remain stable on the Front Panelof your ATA. Accessing your ATA Web Panel 1. First, connect the ATA’s LAN port to your PC network card and then disable& enable the Local AreaConnection availablein the Control Panel . > Network Connections. Then ATA will release theIP address in the series of 192.168.113. X. And then launch the web browser on the PC. Enterthe Address field ____________________________ _ CRA-200 Quick Installation Guide (192.168.113.1is thedefault local IP address oftheATA). Then press theEnter key. 2. Or you can login to the ATA through the WAN IP address if both ATA and PC are connected to the same network (which is connected to the DHCP server), then you canget theIP address ofthe ATA throughthephoneconnected toATAby dialing “ * * ”. Then it will announce the current WAN IP Address, which is released by the DHCP server. Then enter WAN IP address in the web browser address field toget Login Screen. 3. Now you will be brought to a Login screen. Be sure to select “Admin” in User Type and use following logininformation: • User Name: admin • Password: admin 4. TheATA Status screen will appear. Then Click the Network Config .> WAN tab to proceed to the appropriate instructions for your Internet Connection Type: DHCP, Static IP, orPPPoE. • DHCP: Select “Automatic configuration via DHCPServer” to get the IP address automatically from DHCP server. • PPPoE: Select “Using ISP Account (PPPoE)” to enter the PPPoE user name in the User Name field, and enter the PPPoE password in the password field. • Static IP: Select “Using Static IP” toassign the IP address manually by entering IP Address, SubnetMask, Gateway, Primaryand Secondary DNS. 5. Click on “Apply Changes” to save your settings. VoIP / SIP Configuration Setup through Web Panel 1. Enter the information supplied by your VoIP service provider to register your SIP account such as User ID, Password, Proxy IP address etc. In theVoIP Config >>SIP Config page, do the following: a. Enter theSIP account number in the following fields: • Display Name • Authentication User ID • User ID b. Enter the password in thePassword field. c. Enter theSIP proxy server name in the following fields: • IP Address/Host Name • SIP Proxy Domain NOTE: By default, the Proxy port address will be 5060, DTMF will be RFC2833, Registration Timeout will be 60 seconds.
