Do not use as a car bed! Infant could be seriously injured or killed. c Never leave baby unattended. Always keep baby in view, even when sleeping. c Do not use if baby’s weight exceeds 18 lbs. (8.2 kg.) or if baby can crawl or sit unassisted. Baby could fall out and be seriously injured. c Do not push or pull Bassinet across floors, rugs, etc. with child in it. Legs will weaken and collapse causing serious injury. c Bassinet must be fully assembled before using. 2 c DO NOT carry Bassinet with baby in it. Baby could fall out or be dropped and be seriously injured. c DO NOT remove Bassinet from stand with baby in it. Baby could fall out and be seriously injured. c DO NOT attach or place toys with strings in or around Bassinet. Strings can cause strangulation or choking. c Keep Bassinet away from stoves, heaters, campfires, fireplaces, stairs, open windows, and other hazards which can cause injury to your baby. NEW ILLUSTRATION ASSEMBLY ENGLISH A Rod B Rod Support Rod For proper stand assembly, follow the instructions for your model. c Model 10-440 Series Stand Assembly: 1 Using screws, attach four (4) cross braces to one set of curved legs. Do not over tighten screws. Cross Brace 2 Using screws, attach four (4) cross braces and spacers to second curved leg section. 3 With casters on floor, insert ends of Cradle Support Rod through holes in top of curved leg section. NOTE: Curved edge of Cradle Support Rod must be angled outward as shown. 4 Screw knobs over ends of Cradle Support Rod until knob is tight against legs. Hand tighten only. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for second curved leg section. Cradle Support Rod c Model 10-450 & 10-460 Series Stand Assembly: 1 Insert cross braces into side of leg with Large larger hole and secure with screws. Hole SideDo not over tighten. CAUTION: Inserting cross braces in wrong side of leg (small hole side) can cause cross braces to break Cross during use. Brace 2 Using screws, attach four (4) cross braces to second curved leg section with screws. CAUTION: Make sure cross braces go into side of leg with larger hole. 3 Hook one end of rod over small indentation at end of cross brace (A). 4 Hook end of rod over opposite side of cross brace (B). Repeat steps 3 & 4 for opposite end. 5 With casters on floor, insert ends of Cradle Support Rod through holes in top of curved leg section. Cradle NOTE: Curved edge of Cradle Support Rod must be angled outward as shown. Make sure rod installed in steps 3 & 4 remains hooked on cross braces before securing cradle supports. 6 Screw knobs over threaded ends of Cradle Support Rod until knob is tight against legs. Hand tighten only. Repeat steps 5 & 6 for opposite end. E N G L I S H 4 ASSEMBLY continued cBasket Assembly For Model 10-450 Only: 1 Snap sides of basket over both bottom cross braces. c Canopy Assembly For All Models: 1 Push canopy brackets into canopy mounting brackets. 2 Pull canopy down and over back of Bassinet and secure Velcro® tabs. To Remove Canopy: 1 Push in tabs on mounting brackets and pull upward. c Bassinet Assembly continued: 5 Place Bassinet in stand. NOTE: Bassinet floorboard must rest on bottom of cradle support rod. 6 Snap side skirt straps to top cross braces. 7 Place mattress pad in Bassinet. c Bassinet Assembly For All Models: 1 Straighten Bassinet frame legs until lower curved section of legs are nested in slots of floorboard. 2 Snap skirt straps over Bassinet frame. 3 Pull skirt over frame. NOTE: Be sure canopy mounting bracket...
