Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Personal safety Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles during setup. Stay alert and use common sense when operating. Do not setup or use when tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Product use and care This product is not a toy. Store out of reach of children. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 200 lb. Exceeding this amount of weight may result in property damage and/or personal injury. The Folding Hammock is designed to be used by one person at a time only. Do not use to support animals or use as shelf for boxes or other items. Use both hands to ensure stability when laying on or getting off Hammock. Do not jump or fall onto Hammock. Slowly sit down onto the center of the Hammock. Then swing legs up and onto it so that feet are resting on the narrow end of the Hammock. Keep hands free of folding parts during setup. Do not leave children unattended on Hammock. Closely supervise children who are using Hammock and offer assistance when a child is getting on or off the Hammock. Use Folding Hammock only on flat, level surface that can support the weight of the Hammock and the max. weight capacity (200 lb.) When possible, place on ground that is soft in case of a fall. Do not expose Hammock to rain or wet conditions or leave outdoors for extended period of time. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, rips, or any other condition that may affect the Hammock’s operation or safety. If damaged, have Hammock repaired before use. Use the correct product for your application. Do not modify Hammock or use it for a purpose for which it is not intended. Use the Hammock in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular type of product, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the product for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation. Service Have product serviced by a qualified repair person using only. Please note: There are no replacement parts available for this item. Maintain labels and nameplates on the product. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible. Set Up Instructions Read the entire Important Safety Information section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product. Please note: Though a single person can remove the Folding Hammock from the Carrying Bag, it is best if two people are involved in setup. While the assistant holds the Carrying Bag, pull the Folding Hammock out of the Carrying Bag. Stand the Folding Hammock straight up on its legs. Unsnap the plastic latch of the strap wrapped around the Folding Hammock. See Figure A, below. Once the strap is unfastened, pull down on the ends of the Hammock. The Hammock will begin to unfold itself until straight and level. Figure A To fold the Hammock, grab one of the black pull straps that run along the side of the Hammock. See Figure B, below. Pull up on the straps until the Hammock begins to fold. Once the Hammock is upright and folded, wrap the strap around the legs and snap the latch into place. This will make it easier to slide the Hammock into the Carrying Bag. With the help of an assistant, turn the folded Hammock upside down with legs sticking up. Slide the Carrying Bag over the legs and pull it down. Turn the Hammock right side up, pulling the Bag over the top of the Hammock. Pull on the draw string. The Folding Hammock is now ready to be stored or transported. Figure B Maintenance And Servicing Damaged products can fail, causing personal injury. Do not use a damaged product.
