ReceivingShipment All units are performancetested and thoroughly inspected priorto shipment. Upon receipt, examine the exterior of the shipment packagingforany signs of rough handling. lf thecabinetis damaged,it should be noted on the delivery slip or bill of lading and signed. A freightclaim must be filed immediately against the carrier indicatingthe extent and estimated cost of damage incurred. Locating Your New Cooler Considerthe followingwhenselectinga coolerlocation: 1. Leveling-Coolers must be leveled when installed. Althoughthe cooler is plumbingfree, failure to level yourcoolermay result in condensate water not draining annrnnrialplrr vvP, vY,,s!v't. - must befree of vibration and suitably strong enough to support the combined weightsof the cabinetplusthe maximumproductload. 2. Floot Load The floor on which the cooler will rest - system requires a sufficient amount of cool, clean air. Avoidplacingthe cooler near heat generatingequipment such as ovens, ranges, heaters, fryers, steam kettles, etc., and out of direct sunlight. Avoid locatingthe self- containedcoolerin an unheated room,or wherethe room temperature may be below 65'F. For optimum performanceroom temperature should be 70-80"F. 3. Ventilation The air cooled, self-contained refrigeration ElectricalSupply Theelectricalsupply should always be provided by a qualifiedelectricianin accordancewith local electrical codes. A properlywired cooler willassureproperoperation.Electricalsupply requirementsare on the cabinet serial/data plate located on the upper left wall inside the cabinet. A direct, properly protected line of the proper size wire should be installed from the main supply to yourcooler.All coolers electrical systems are internallygrounded. Cleaning Priorto setting up and operating your new cooler,it is advisable that the interior be washed thoroughly with a mild, non-abrasive detergent and a chlorine free water solution. Rlnsewith clear water and a sanitizing solution. Dry with a soft absorbent towel. Coolerswith the painted and stainless steel exterior require only mild soap and water to maintain the finish. Caution:Beforecleaning, servicing, or removingshelves, unplug the cooler to disconnect power! Use non-abrasivecleaners that do not contain chlorine and a soft cloth or sponge. Do not use steel wool, scrapers,wirebrushes or other harsh items to clean yourcooler. Following are some exampres. . - Baking Soda Used for die-hard type stains. Mix in one tablespoon of baking sooa per one oint of water for recommended solutlon. . ClubSoda-Usedto remove streaks. Daily Exterior CIeaninE 1. Clean surface with a sponge and cleaning solution. 2. Polish with a soft cloth for stainless steel, wiping with thegrainof the metal. 3. Once a week wipewith a filmcutting agent to maintain shine and stainless steel finish. Weekly Exterior CleaninE 1...
