[OFF] No priority given. [AUTO] Priority given. Note • When you set the item to [AUTO], the language may change. The [TRACK SELECTION] setting has higher priority than the [AUDIO] settings in [LANGUAGE SETUP] (page 75). Useful for watching movies at low volume late at night. [OFF] No compression of dynamic range. [STANDARD] Reproduces the sound track with the kind of dynamic range that the recording engineer intended. [MAX] Compresses dynamic range at the maximum. Note • [AUDIO DRC] only applies to Dolby Digital sources. x [DivX] Displays the registration code for this system. For more information, go to on the Internet. Settings for the Speakers [SPEAKER SETUP] To obtain the best possible surround sound, set for the size of the speakers you have connected and their distance from your listening position. Then use the test tone to adjust the level and the balance of the speakers to the same level. Select [SPEAKER SETUP] in the Setup Display. For details, see “Using the Setup Display” (page 74). The default settings are underlined. Note • You cannot operate these setup items when you connect headphones to the system.
