Multi-channel surround formats are downmixed to 2 channels. “HP 2CH” The system outputs the sound from the headphones (HEADPHONE 2 regardless of sound format or number of channels. Refer to the operating instructions supplied with your disc. The system starts playback (continuous play). 6 Adjust the volume by using VOLUME +/ – on the remote or the VOLUME control on the unit. The volume level appears on the TV screen and in the front panel display. Note • When you set the Control for HDMI function to on, the TV that is connected to the system with an HDMI cable can be sync-operated with the system. Displaying multi-angles and subtitles To change the angles If various angles (multi-angles) for a scene are recorded on a DVD VIDEO, you can change the viewing angle. Press ANGLE during playback to select the desired angle. To display the subtitles If subtitles are recorded on a disc, you can turn the subtitles on/off during playback. If multilingual subtitles are recorded on the disc, you can change the subtitle language during playback, or turn the subtitles on/off whenever you want.
