Remove the door. Remove the batteries and dispose of them properly. • Insert three, new “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries. Hint:We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life. • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws. Do not over-tighten. 2 Battery Replacement 4 Faces IMPORTANT! To ensure proper function, follow this step carefully. • Align the face on the sound box with the face on the front of the ball. Fit the sound box back inside the ball. 5 A B • Fold the fabric tab over the bottom of the sound box A and secure the fasteners B . • If this toy begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power/volume switch off and then back on. • When sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries. • Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/ EC). Note: Make sure the face on the sound box is aligned with the face on the front of the ball. Care • The soccer ball is machine washable. First remove the sound box inside the soccer ball. Machine was the ball in cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. • Do not immerse the sound box. • After washing and drying is complete, replace the sound box inside the ball. Be sure that the sound box is replace properly. 4 3 Interactive Modes! Press • Press the nose on the front of the ball to choose a mode: Learning, Music or Imagination. Learning Mode • Roll the ball for counting fun! Music • Roll the ball to hear fun songs and silly sounds. Imagination • Roll the ball for realistic soccer sounds! IMPORTANT! If the mode (Learning or Music or Imagination) does not switch after pressing the nose on the ball, try removing and replacing the sound box inside the ball.
