Keep the holder horizontal so that the battery does not fall through. CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. See hazardouswaste/perchlorate Operating with the remote control Point the remote control at the remote sensor and press the buttons. CAUTION • Do not connect the power plug to a power outlet other than that indicated on the label, as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. • Do not connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands. Doing so may cause electric shock. • Do not use an AC adapter other than one specified, as it can cause a fire or damage to the player. • When the AC adapter is in use, its temperature may increase. However, it is not a malfunction. Make sure that the AC adapter is disconnected and the temperature decreases before carrying it. WARNING • Do not use a battery pack other than one specified as it can result in a fire or damage to the unit. • Do not heat, open, or short-circuit the battery pack. Do not throw the battery pack into a fire. Doing so may cause an explosion or a fire. • Attach the battery pack properly following the explanation below. Make sure that the battery pack is attached firmly to the player when using it. Otherwise, the battery pack may become detached and cause personal injury. ■ Attaching the battery pack 1 Turn the player off. 2 Disconnect all cables and cords from the player. 3 Turn the player upside down. 28 SDP93SWN_E_02-56.indd 28 4 Remove the connector cover on the bottom of the player. Remove the connector cover.
