However, opening the disc tray will cancel the Resume feature. Play will start at the beginning the next time you insert the Disc. To cancel Resume and start playing the Disc from the beginning, press STOP C a second time while playback is stopped. The Stop symbol (C) will appear briefly on the TV screen. Helpful Hints 58 Markers Use Markers to remember your favorite places on an Audio CD or DVD. To set the Markers, follow these steps. . Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR in DVD mode. You can select only languages that are available on the DVD. 1 1 Press DVD. 2 2 During playback, press SUBTITLE to select a subti-2 tle language. The number of available languages appears at the right of the subtitle display. In the example below, six languages are available ( /6). After a few seconds, the subti 1 tles will appear. Or, press SUBTITLE to turn off subtitles.
