To reduce this “red-eye” effect, use this mode. About Red-eye Reduction mode aThe Red-eye Reduction lamp lights up approx. 1sec. before the flash fires. Be careful not to move the camera or let the subject move until the shutter is released. aThis mode is not recommended in shooting situations where shutter release is your top priority.
