The sharpest picture in the series is automatically selected and saved. W Multi-shot 16 Each time the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down, the camera takes 16 shots at a rate of about 1.4 frames per second (fps) for L20 and 1.6 fps for L19, then arranges them in a single picture. Image mode is locked at i Normal (3648) for L20 and R Normal (3264) for L19. Digital zoom cannot be applied. At settings other than Single, the indicator for the current setting is displayed in the monitor (A6). BNote on Continuous Shooting The maximum frame rate with continuous shooting may vary, depending upon the current image mode setting and the memory card used. BNote on BSS BSS may not produce the desired results if the subject moves or the composition changes while the shutter-release button is pressed all the way down. Shooting, Playback and Setup Menus 75 Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu F Color Options Set A(Auto) mode (A27) Md (shooting menu) MF Color Options Make colors more vivid or record pictures in monochrome. n Standard color (default setting) Use for pictures exhibiting natural color. o Vivid color Use to achieve a vivid, “photoprint” effect. p Black-and-white Record pictures in black-and-white. q Sepia Record pictures in sepia tones. r Cyanotype Record pictures in cyan-blue monochrome. The effects of the selected option can be previewed in the monitor. At settings other than Standard color, the icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor (A6). Shooting, Playback and Setup Menus 76 Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu Camera Settings that Cannot Be Set at the Same Time Restrictions apply to the following settings in A (auto) mode. Flash mode Setting Continuous to Continuous, BSS or Multi-shot 16 fixes flash to W(off). Applied setting is restored when Single is selected. Self-timer If self-timer is on, only one shot will be taken when shutter is released, regardless of settings chosen for Continuous. Applied Continuous settings are restored when picture is taken or self-timer is turned off. Continuous Selecting Multi-shot 16 fixes Image mode setting to i Normal (3648) for L20 and R Normal (3264) for L19. Selecting a mode other than Multi-shot 16 from Continuous returns the previous image mode. White balance White balance is automatically set to Auto and cannot be adjusted when Blackand- white, Sepia or Cyanotype is selected for Color options. Applied White balance setting is restored when Standard color or Vivid color is selected. I D-Lighting A50 Enhances brightness and contrast in dark portions of pictures. a Print set A67 Select pictures to print and the number of copies for each. b Slide show A80 View pictures stored in the internal memory or on a memory card in an automatic slide show. c Delete A81 Delete selected pictures or all pictures. g Small picture A52 Create a small copy of the current picture. Only one picture can be selected for Rotate image and Welcome screen. Proceed to step 3. Press g (i) to switch to full-frame playback. Press f (h) to switch back to thumbnail display. 2 Press H or I to select ON or OFF (or the number of copies). When ON is selected, a check mark (y) is displayed in the top left corner of the current picture. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to select additional pictures. 3 To fix the selection of pictures, press k.
