The installation of the software starts. b Creating a video CD 1 Open the [ImageMixer] folder in [Application]. 2 Click [ImageMixer VCD2]. 3 Click [Video CD]. The Video disc mode starts up. • You cannot create a DVD Video. images are stored. 1 Select the desired folder on the left frame, then click [Add]. The preparation for storing the file on a CD-R is completed. • “ImageMixer VCD2” can create only the disk image to store the image file on a CD-R in the video CD format. Toast by Roxio (not supplied) is required to create a video CD. Enjoying images on your computer Troubleshooting If you experience trouble with your camera, try the following solutions. 1 First check the items on the tables below. If code displays “C:ss:ss” appear on the screen, the self- diagnosis display function is working (page 108). Battery and power 2 Should your camera still not work properly, press the RESET button on the bottom of the camera using a fine-tipped object, then turn on the power again. (All the settings including date and time are cleared.) RESET button 3 Should your camera still not work properly, consult your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility. Symptom Cause Solution The battery remaining indicator is incorrect, or sufficient battery remaining indicator is displayed but the power runs out soon. • You have used the camera in an extremely cold location. • The batteries are discharged. • The battery contacts or the terminals on the battery cover are dirty. • The memory effect has occurred in the Nickel- Metal Hydride batteries (page 12). • A deviation has occurred in the remaining battery time. • The batteries are dead (page 119). p See page 116. p Install charged batteries (page 13). p Wipe any dirt off from them with a dry cloth (page 13). p Charge tha batteries only after using up the existing charge to correct it. p Charge the batteries only after using up the existing charge so that the battery remaining indicator functions correctly (page 14). p Replace the batteries with new ones.
