Thanks for purchasing Senario VS-MAXX™ Texas Hold‘Em 6-Player TV Poker game system! All VS-MAXX™ brand products are battery powered plug-n-play video game systems designed for many hours of game-playing fun. This game system has one main console and six separate handsets that allows up to 6 players to play at the same time. The console includes a ten-foot audio/video cable that connects to your television, video monitor or VCR. Each of the six handsets has its own five-foot nine-prong cable that connects to the main console. The game unit is portable, so you can take it anywhere! Warnings and Precautions page 7 6. Game Instructions page 8 POWER SOURCE The main console has two power options: 1. 4 x AA (1.5 volt) batteries (not included). 2. 6 volt AC/DC adaptor (not included). BATTERY INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT To install batteries: 1. Remove cover on bottom of console by using a small Philips head screwdriver. 2. Install 4 x AA type batteries into the console. Be sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries are facing in the correct direction (see image below). For best results use only fresh, high quality alkaline batteries. 3. Replace the battery cover. To replace batteries: 1. Remove cover on bottom of console by using a small Philips head screwdriver. 2. Remove exhausted batteries and dispose of them properly. 3. Replace with 4 x new AA type batteries. Be sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries are facing in the correct direction (see image below). For best results use only fresh, high quality alkaline batteries. 4. Replace the battery cover. Note: When batteries begin to lose their charge, the system will automatically run low power detection. Thus, a battery symbol will appear on the TV screen to indicate to change the batteries. BATTERY WARNING • Remember to remove batteries when your VS-MAXX™ will not be used for a long period of time. • An adult should supervise battery installation. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix different brands of batteries. • Do not mix alkaline batteries with standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. • Only use batteries that are the same or equivalent type as recommended in this manual. • Be sure to insert batteries to the correct polarity. • Exhausted batteries should be removed from the product and disposed of properly. • Be careful not to short-circuit the supply terminals. • Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline or standard). CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS Note: The A/V connections will be located either in the front or back of your TV, video monitor or VCR. The A/V plugs must be connected to the standard “input” RCA type jacks. The plugs are color coordinated to the “input” jacks (red-audio and yellow-video). If your TV, video monitor or VCR does not include standard “input” RCA type jacks, you will need to purchase a separate A/V adaptor (not included). USING YOUR VS-MAXX™ How to turn on: 1. Make sure your VS-MAXX™ and TV, video monitor or VCR is off before plugging in any cables. 2. Plug the VS-MAXX™ audio/video cable to your TV, video monitor or VCR standard “input” RCA type jacks (see image on page 3). 3. Turn on your TV, video monitor or VCR. 4. Switch the channel on TV, video monitor or VCR to the audio/video channel mode. You might have to change channel by the TV, video monitor or VCR remote control. 5. Plug in one to six handsets to the console (see image below). Note that one handset must be plugged in the #1 position on the console at all time. If not plugged in properly, the game set-up will not be able to activate.. 6. Slide the VS-MAXX™ power switch to the “ON” position. 7. Now it’s time to make your Texas Hold‘Em TV Poker game selections! 8. You can toggle through your game selections using either the console or #1 handset. How to turn off: 1. After you have finished playing, slide the power switch to the “OFF” position. 2. Disconnect the VS-MAXX™ audio/video cable from the standard RCA type jacks. 3. If using a VCR, turn the power off to view regular television programs. 4. If using a TV or video monitor, switch the channel back to view regular programs. 5. If not using the VS-MAXX™ for a long period of time, please remove the batteries or unplug the adaptor (not included) from the main console.
