317 240 5662 P. 001/001 PRODUCT DATA ELECTRONIC CONTROL OPTIONS AND FIA COMPONENTS These electronic pilot options are available for Model 246 Gas-Fired Boiler application. FIA does not approve a specific device or unit. Approval applies to the complete installation based upon the locai FIA engineer's evaluation ' of equipment, hazards of building usage, and the insurance liabilities involved, FIA generally recommends that gas-fired sectional boilers be equipped with electronically supervised pilots, low-water cutoffs (water boilers included), operating controllers separate from limit controls, also such special gas valving and accessory trim as is covered in the Group C iisting. To match FIA recommendations, order the Group A, Manual Ignition Electronic Control Package, and Group C, Valves and Accessories, in combination with the standard 246 Boiler 100% shut-off trim, either D5 (natural gas) or D2 (propane gas). These options are A.G.A. certified for use with the Model 246 Boiler.
