The only assembly required is to attach the search coil and lower stem to the upper stem and on to the control box. Fresh batteries can then be installed, and the detector will be ready for use. Please use the following steps for assembly: 1. Depress the button on the single stem, and push it into the hole on the stem below the control panel. (Fig. A&B) 2. Depress the adjustment button on the lower stem. (Fig. A&B) 3.Push the lower stem into the appropriate holes of the upper stem to fit the height of the person using the detector. (FIG. A&B) 4.Release the assembly knob/bolt of the lower stem. 5.Insert the lower stem into the mount of the search coil (Fig.C) 6. Fast en the knob/bolt. 7.Wind the search coil cable around the stem and fasten the end into the control panel attached. Caution: Provide enough slack in the cable near the search coil angle.
