Troubleshooting Fault Appliance stops but does not switch off. Cause Appliance overloaded, e.g. mincer blocked. Remedial action • Switch appliance off and wait until it comes to a standstill. • Remove mains plug. • Remove mincer attachment and remove blockage. • Switch on appliance again. Fault Mincer attachment stops but the appliance does not switch off. Cause Driver is broken because the appliance was severely overloaded (e.g. by bones). Remedial action • Replace driver (see „Predetermined breaking point”). Important informationIf the fault cannot be eliminated, please contact customer service. Recipes and tips To obtain most of the nutritional value from vegetable and fruit dishes, familiarise yourself with the methods for preparing them. Do not store vegetables or fruit in water and mash them just before serving and eating. Cut into cubes. • When the meat is soft, add the liver andthe cut bread rolls and braise everythingtogether for a short time. • Leave the mixture to cool down and then put twice through the mincer (4 mm perforated disc). • Add the egg, nutmeg, salt and pepper and mix everything thoroughly. • Grease the baking tin and pour in the meat mixture. Bake for approx. 40 minutes. Homemade sausage 4.5 kg semi-fatty meat 0.5 kg fatty meat 1 glass of bone stock6–7 tsp. salt . tsp. saltpetre1 tsp. pepper (ground) 12–15 grains of pimento (ground) 5–6 garlic cloves (chopped), approx. 7 m natural casing • Put the meat through the mincer(8 mm perforated disc). • Mix the salt with the saltpetre andthe spices and add to the meat mixture. Slowly add the bone stock. • Place in a cool location for 24 hours. • Attach the sausage filler attachmentto the mincer. • Pour the mixture into the natural casing and make sausages approx. 30–40 cm in length. Ensure that the ventilationopenings of the appliance are not covered. • Leave the sausages to dry for 6 hours. • Cure over warm smoke for approx. 14 hours or over hot smoke for approx. 2.5 hours. Fresh red cabbage salad 400 g red cabbage 200 g apples 2 tsp. oil Lemon juiceSalt and sugar • Wash the red cabbage. • Cut red cabbage into small pieces using the shredding attachment (slicing insert). • Mix the cut cabbage with apple sauce while adding oil, lemon juice, salt and sugar to taste. Celery salad400 g celery, 200 g apples, 2 tbs. oil or cream Lemon juiceSalt and pepper • Cut celery into small pieces using theshredding attachment (slicing insert). • Add oil or cream to taste. • Add sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste. Pasta dough300 g flour10 egg yolk3 tbs. olive oil PepperCrushed paprikaDried mint • Process ingredients to a smooth dough. The dough should be slightly harder, noodle dough is ready when it crumbles! Do not add any more liquid. • Leave dough to cool down in the refrigerator for approx. 10 minutes. • Divide dough into smaller portions. Robert Bosch Hausgerate GmbH en • Process dough portions using the noodle attachment. Do not add the next portion untilthe previous portion has been pulled in by the worm gear. Use the pusher to push in ingredients. • As soon as the noodles come out of the noodle insert, cut them into small pieces. • If required, immediately dust the noodles with flour to prevent them from sticking. • Process noodles as usual. Biscuit dough300 g flour1 knob of butter 1 glass of sugar1 egg1 packet of vanilla sugar • Mix butter with sugar and vanilla sugar. • Add egg and flour and mix thoroughly. • Leave dough to cool down in the refrigerator for approx. 40 minutes. • Divide dough into smaller portions. • Process dough portions using the required shape of the pastry attachment. Do not add the next portion untilthe previous portion has been pulled in by the worm gear. Use the pusher to push in ingredients. • As soon as the dough comes out, cut it into small pieces. • Bake biscuits in the oven at 180 °C.
