Place handle assembly onto frame, depress the snap buttons, and slide the handle assembly onto the frame until snap buttons snap into place. Connect tube bracket (b) to frame using the hardware (c) supplied. b c 3. Assembly hose reel. a. Attach handle to flange assembly. NOTE: Screws must be inserted from the inside of hose reel and secured with nuts on the outside as shown. Tighten securely. b. Bolt hose reel to reel bracket as shown. Tighten securely. c. Apply sealant tape to swivel end of high pressure hose. hose end with swivel d. Feed high pressure hose through slot (1) in flange assembly and connect to swivel (2). Tighten securely. 12 e. Make a loop in hose as shown. Place hose into hose clamp (3), squeeze hose clamp together, slide onto long screw post, and secure with nut (4). Tighten securely. NOTE: Do not overbend or kink hose. 43 f. Turn handle and reel hose onto reel. g. Attach hose reel inlet to high pressure pump. Do not operate this hose reel until you have read and understood the Pressure Washer Owners Manual for Safety, Operation, and Maintenance Instructions. 7- ENG A09608 4. Attach high pressure hose to gun. Tighten securely. 5. Connect wand to gun. Tighten securely. 6. Place the nozzle holder onto the panel (located on the handle assembly) and push each nozzle holder into place. 7. Remove five colored quick connect nozzles from plastic bag and insert them into correct grommet on the nozzle holder. NOTE: Nozzles are color coded to match colored nozzles on panel. 8. Slide the formed rubber covers onto the handle's on-board hose and wand storage. 9. Add engine oil (supplied) to engine. Refer to Engine Owners Manual supplied by engine manufacturer for correct procedure. NOTE: There will be a slight amount of oil in the engine from factory testing. NOTE: The high pressure pump was filled with oil at the factory. There is no need to add oil at this time, see the Maintenance section of this manual for Maintenance information. The shipping plug must be removed and replaced with the dipstick/oil plug before operating pressure washer. 10. Using a 7/8" wrench, remove shipping plug from pump by turning it counterclockwise. Discard plug. 11. Remove dipstick/oil plug from plastic bag and install into pump, tighten securely.
