Recording will begin from the first track of the disc. It will continue through to the last track of the disc and then stop automatically. One-touch editing automatically positions the leader tape for you, so you don’t have to do it manually. Pfjj Press ^ OPEN/CLOSE on deck, and then insert a tape. Press A OPEN/CLOSE once again to close the holder. To record in Dolby B NR: Operate DOLBY NR to select Dolby NR ON. Press REV MODE to select the reverse mode. X: One side will record, and then the tape will stop automatically at the end of the tape. ^2: Both sides will record (forward side—»reverse side), and then the tape will stop automatically at the end of the tape. c^d: Same as above (When you press CD EDIT, “c^d” will be automatically switched over to “T" V.). Insert a CD in the tray. (- page 14.) Press CD EDIT. The deck will rewind the tape and recording will start. In the meantime, “Al EDIT TAPE" will scroll across the display from right to left. However, it will take a moment for recording to actually begin. To stop one-touch editing Press □ on the cassette deck. The CD player will also stop. “EDIT OUT’ will scroll across the display from right to left. When tracks are allotted to side B: After recording the allotted tracks on side A, the cassette deck will continue recording on side A and will make a blank portion on side A in order to measure the proper length of the tape. After edit-recording has finished: The tape deck automatically puts recording on standby. In the meantime, if "LINK" flashes on the display, there is enough space on the tape that you can continue recording from another CD (-»page 24).
