Select ash body with forearm and ribcage contours Bilaminated rock maple neck Optional rosewood or maple fingerboard 25 1/211 scale length, 22 frets Locking Nut Peavev Floyd Rose' Licensed double-locking tremolo Precision die-cast enclosed machine heads_ Db4 quad-blade humbucking pickup (bridge) Db2 dual-blade humbucking pickups (neck and middle) Volume and tone controls 5-way pickup-selector switch 3-way turbo switch (single/dual/turbo) Features Cold hardware Construction Body The body of this instrument is constructed from solid swamp ash, with deep cutaways for easy access'to the highest fret. A special forearm and ribcage contour allows for weight reduction, proper balance, and maximum playing ease. This instrument features our polyester/urethane finish, which is mar- and weather-resistant. Neck The select rock maple neck is crafted to provide unmatched rigidity and freedom from warpage. Additional reinforcement is provided with a steel torsion rod. The adjustable torsion rod features rolled threads for improved strength and freedom from breakage. (See A\djustment-Torsion Rod, for adjustment instructions.) Pickups The Db4 quad-blade (bridge) and Db2 dual-blade {middle and neck) humbucking pickups offer radiused blade pole pieces for high output and improved string balance. These are frequency-tuned for maximum tonal response, as well as being fully shielded and wax-dipped for ultra low-noise operation and resistance to microphonic feedback. Controls Figure 1 Volume The volume knob controls the total signal delivered from both pickups. Rotating clockwise will increase volume; rotating counterclockwise will reduce volume. Tone Rotating clockwise will result in more treble (higher frequencies) and a brighter tonality; rotating counterclockwise will result in less treble and a "bassier" sound. OUTPUT JACK VOLUME PICKUP SELECTOR TURBO SWITCH Pickup-selector switch This five-position switch allows, selection of pickups in various combinations. The selection possibilities are as follows: 1. toward neck = neck pickup 2. one click back from neck = neck and center pickups 3. center = center pickup 4. one click back from center = center and bridge pickups 5. toward bridge = bridge pickup Turbo switch This three-position switch allows the bridge pickup to be used in various (single/dual/turbo) modes of operation. The single- and dual-coil modes are controlled in conjunction with the pickup-selector switch. The turbo mode allows full humbucking operation by passing the pickup-selector switch. The selection possibilities are as follows: ^. up = single ♦ - I I \r 2. center = dual 3. down = turbo Output jack The output jack accepts standard guitar patch cords.
