Resumen del manual

Moreover, featuring the wide range of maximum input level and compression range, it can be used for any electronic musical instrument. In addition, the CS-3 can be used as an ordinay limiter by turning down the sustain volume. PANEL DESCRIPTION AC Adaptor Jack Level Knob Tone Konb Output Jack Pedal Switch Check Indicator Sustain Knob Attack Knob Input Jack Thumb Screw Level Knob This knob changes the volume of the effect sound. Rotating it clockwise increases the volume and counterclockwise decreases. Therefore, this knob can be effectively used to adjust volume balance of the effect and direct sounds. Tone Control Rotating this knob clockwise emphasizes the higher frequency making sharper sounds. Counterclockwise rotation cuts the higher frequency making softer sounds. Attack Knob This adjusts the intensity of the attack in the picking. At its clockwise position, the attack sound is retained in each note even in fast picking, creating drive sound. Sustain Knob This knob adjusts the sustain time. Rotating this knob clockwise increases the sustain time. By rotating it counterclockwise, the output level is limited, therefore the CS-3 works as a limiter. Check Indicator This serves as an effect ON/OFf indicator as well as battery check. This lights up when the effect is turned on and goes out when off. Pedal Switch Push this pedal to turn the effect on {LED on), and push it again to turn the effect off {LED off). * The FET Switching system amazingly reduces click noise, so that studio recording and live performance will now be even, more successfully achieved. AC Adaptor Jack Connect an AC adaptor (BOSS PSA-Series) to this jack for AC operation. Input Jack This is to connect an electric guitar, or other electronic musical instrument. Plugging the power cord into this jack turns the power to the CS-3 on. So please disconnect the cord when the unit is not to be used. Using the CS-3 Using the CS-3 as a Compressor as a Limiter LEVEL Press the Pedal Switch to turn the effect on (LED on), and adjust the volume of the effect sound using the Level Knob ATTACK Adjust the intensity of the attack with the Attack Knob. 6 TONE Control the tone of the sound with the Tone Control Knob. CAUTIONS FOR REPLACING AND HANDLING BATTERY REPLACING BATTERY USE ONE 9-VOLT BATTERY. 0Loosen the screw to open the pedal and take out the battery from the battery housing. @Replace the battery with a new one. ©Set the coil spring onto the spring base on the back of the pedal and shut the pedai. CAUTION * Inserting a plug into the INPUT Jack will automatically switch the unit on. * To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other dances, always turn down the volume, and turn off the power on all devices before making any connections, * If there are batteries in the unit while an AC adaptor is being used, normal operation will continue should the line voltage be interrupted (power blackout or power cord disconnection). * Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other devices. When powering up: Turn on the power to your guitar amp last.
