About the Advanced SA Sound Sources The sounds produced by this instrument are created using the "Advanced SA Process," which represents a pooling of ihe best leading-edge digital technology by Roland. The ASA process, developed as a natural extension of the original SA proc ess, involved a series of efforts: first, an analysis of the essential properties of sound as generated by musical instruments, then an extraction, and finally a re-synthesis designed lo facilitate the expressive needs of musicians.
