The JC-60 is a 60W (R.M.S.) guitar amp, provided with chorus effect for voluminous rich sound and vibrato effect for soft, unique effect obtained through frequency modulation. 2. This amp is provided with three controls (Treble, Middle and Bass) to enable wide-range tone setting, a distortion control producing soft distortion sound and an OCE three-spring type Reverb control which produces clear reverberation effects. With these controls, you can enjoy full tone variation. 3. The JC-60 makes impressive, refined appearance, well integrated with functional design. Solidly built, all corners and edges are fiberglass reinforced and riveted. Chorus Effect Chorus effect of the JC series is produced through the use of special IC, which delays original signals; signals delayed have different pitches than the original ones. By mixing these signals, sound is produced in unison—that’s chorus effect. Thus sounds from an electric guitar are softened to give heavy sound never possible with conventional amps, and “wide-spreading” effects. Terminals at Rear Panel Foot Switch Jacks • For Chorus/Vibrato Control On-Off control of Chorus effect or Vibrato effect can be done via foot switch when the switch is connected to this jack. (Controls one effect which is indicated by the Chorus/Vibrato Changeover Switch at front Panel.) • For Reverb Control On-Off control of Reverb effect can be done through foot switch. External Output Jack • Jacks for External Speakers By using 8-ohm external speaker system in combination with the built-in speakers, powerful volume output is obtained. • Line Out Use this Line Out when connecting the JC-60 directly to PA mixer or when recording. SPEAKER LINE OUT : <®> ® # CHORUS VIBRATO REVERB 8 OHM Function of Controls • Input (High/Low) Two input sockets are provided for suitable selection according to electric guitar output to be connected. In general, use “high” socket, but use “low” with electric guitars having large output. • Volume Control Controls volume. • Treble • Middle Tone Controls • Bass Tone controls for treble, middle and bass enable various tone settings. • Distortion Control With this control, sweet distortion sound is obtained; sounds produced by control setting are distorted without excessive tonal change. Turning the control clockwise deepens the distortion depth. • Reverb Control Turning it clockwise deepens reverberation effect. On-Off control of reverb effect is done by foot, using foot switch. • Vibrato Speed Control Controls vibrato effect speed; turning the control clockwise increases the speed. • Vibrato Depth Control Controls depth of vibrato effect; turning the control clockwise deepens the effect. • Chorus/Vibrato Changeover Switch This switch provides finger-touch changeover of chorus and vibrato effects as well as ON/OFF. It can also be controlled by pedal when foot switch is connected.
