After thoroughly reading this manual, keep it in a safe place for future reference. O Head Set Wearing the headset on your head like a pair of headphones, you can adjust the position of the breath controller to provide a comfortable playing position for the mouthpiece. • Both sides of the headset can be adjusted up or down to change the length of the headset, for when it is to be worn on your head or around your neck. • Adjusting the headset with excessive force may deform the headset’s shape. Please use caution. 0Gain Control (GAIN) Gain sensitivity is controlled by rotating the dial to the left or right. Rotating clockwise increases gain sensitivity, making a lighter breath produce a bigger value change. 0 Offset Value Control (OFFSET) Rotate to the left or right to control the offset value (the output value without blowing into the mouthpiece). Rotating clockwise increases the offset value. • The factory default settings for both Gain Control and Offset Value Control are set at average levels. O Mouthpiece Place in your mouth and blow. Use the Drain Control Cap, at the end of the mouthpiece, to adjust the amount of air to be vented from the mouthpiece. Rotate the Drain Control Cap to close the drain, and stop the venting of air. • The Drain Cap may be blown off if it is not fully inserted. Please use caution. 0 Pipe (Long) Use the long pipe when the headset is to be worn on your head. Freely bend the pipe to provide a comfortable playing position for the mouthpiece. 0 Pipe (Short) Use the short pipe when the headset is to be worn around your neck. Take off the pipe (long) and replace it with the short pipe. Freely bend the pipe to provide a comfortable playing position for the mouthpiece. • Bending the pipe too much or too many times, may result in the pipe breaking off. Please use caution. O Connecting Plug Connect the plug to the breath controller jack on a synthesizer, MIDI keyboard, tone generator, etc.. The mouthpiece and pipe (long/short) can easily be removed for washing.
