This single channel bass system is unlike any other amp available today. Thanks to its highly efficient digital power amp section, the DPB is capable of producing over 300 watts of crystal clear power into a 4 ohm load in a package that weighs less than 12 pounds. This, in combination with an extremely versatile preamp, makes the DPB a very appealing bass system! FRONT PANEL: INPUT (1): This input will accept signals from all types of bass pickups. © © m LOW HIGH 9 9 12 12 ,-15 15+ -15 15« © © © © © 300 WATT DIGITAL BASS AMP 250 62S 1,6K CONSnwt Q fITERS © @ @ -10 dB PAD SWITCH (2): Provided for instruments that have extremely high output, which can result in overdriving (distorting) the input gain stage. Depressing the switch to its "in" position reduces the level of the input signal by 10 dB. PRE GAIN (3): Controls the input gain of the preamplifier. CONTOUR SELECT (4): Defeats the preset special HQ curve when pushed in. LOW (5): An active tone control (shelving type, ±15 dB) that varies the low frequency boost or cut. HIGH (6): An active tone control (shelving type, ±15 dB) that varies the high frequency boost or cut. GRAPHIC SELECT (7): The "in" position of this switch routes the instrument signal through the 7-band equalizer. The "out" position removes the graphic equalizer from the signal path. 7-BAND GRAPHIC EQ (8): A 7-band, two-and-one-half-octave graphic equalizer that provides ±15 dB of boost or cut al each center frequency. MASTER VOLUME (9): Controls the overall volume level of the system. BALANCED OUT PRE/POST EQ SWITCH (10): Allows selection of pre EQ or post EQ to the (Low Z balanced) Direct Out jack. The "in" position selects pre EQ line out and the "out" position selects post EQ line out. POWER SWITCH (11): Depress the switch to the "on" position. The red LED will illuminate indicating power is being supplied to the unit. REAR PANEL: FUSE (12): A WARNING: THE FUSE SHOULD ONLY BE REPLACED WHEN THE POWER CORD HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM ITS POWER SOURCE. A The fuse is located within the cap of the fuseholder. If the fuse should fail, IT MUST BE REPLACED WITH THE SAME TYPE AND VALUE IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT AND TO PREVENT VOIDING THE WARRANTY. If the amp repeatedly blows fuses, it should be taken to a qualified service center for repair. REMOVABLE LINE CORD (13): 120 V Products Only For your safety, we have incorporated a 3-wire lines (mains) cable with proper grounding facilities. It is not advisable to remove the ground pin under any circumstances. If it is necessary to use the equipment without proper ground facilities, suitable grounding adaptors should be used. Greatly reduced shock hazard exists when the unit is operated with the proper grounded receptacles. DIRECT OUT (BALANCED LINE OUTPUT) (14): Provides 600 ohm, transformer balanced signal to be used as "direct" patch into mixing consoles, tape recorders,, etc. The signal at this point has been frequency compensated for low noise operation. POWER AMP INPUT (15): Use to connect line level signal to the power amplifier. PREAMP OUTPUT (16): The preamp can be used to route the signal to a mixing console, tape recorder, etc. Connect the preamp output using a shielded cable to an input of the tape recorder, mixer, etc. This patch does not affect the operation of the amplifier. EFFECTS SEND (17): Output for supplying signals to external effects or signal processing equipment. EFFECTS RETURN (18): Input for returning signals from external effects or signal processing equipment. SPEAKER OUTPUTS (19): A Provided for connection of external speaker(s). Minimum total impedance is 4 ohms.
