Plugging in', the amplifier first may cause damage to the speaker. * Be sure to turn the MASTER VOLUME control of the amplifier counterclockwise to its minimum position when plugging or unplugging the guitar cable and turning the power ON and OFF. * Make sure your amplifier is rated for the AC mains voltage in your area. * For safety, always remove the power plug from the AC wall outlet if there is any danger of lightning striking in your area. ■ SETTING EXAMPLES • Clean, cutting sound ■ PRECAUTIONS * Lors du raccordement de l’amplificateur et de la guitare électrique, branchez toujours d’abord le câble à cette dernière. Turn clockwise to increase the effect of the distortion. For a clean sound, set the knob to about 1 or 2 (with the DISTORTION knob set to 0). * No sound is produced if the GAIN knob is set to 0. ©DISTORTION Controls the character of the distortion. Turn clockwise to make the distortion sharper and enable you to produce long, sustained tones. Turning the knob counterclockwise produces a thicker, meatier type of distortion. ©MASTER VOLUME Controls the overall volume of the sound without significantly affecting the distortion or sonic character. SOUND EQUALIZER ©TREBLE Controls the gain or attenuation level for the high frequencies. ©MIDDLE Controls the gain or attenuation level for the middle frequencies. ©BASS Controls the gain or attenuation level for the low frequencies. ©PRESENCE Controls the gain or attenuation level for high frequencies above the treble band. * No sound is produced if all sound equalizer knobs are set to 0. ©PHONES Connect headphones to this jack. ©REC. OUT Output jack for recording. Connect to a recording mixer or MTR. (Post power amp output) ©EFFECT RETURN ©EFFECT SEND When using an effecter feed it via the SEND jack and return the effect signal via the RETURN jack. These terminals may be also used as an AUX MIX loop. In this case the SEND jack serves as line output, the RETURN jack as input. ©POWER Turns power on and off.
