If you maintain contact by grasping you may suffer minor burns or discomfort. Avoid prolonged contact with hose within 4 feet of the air compressor during or immediately after operation. Always use the handle. Flammable Vapors It is normal for the motor’s electrical contacts to spark when the compressor starts or stops. A spark can ignite flammable Svapors from gasoline or solvents, causing an explosion or fire. The air compressor must only be used in well ventilated areas, free of gasoline or solvent vapors.
