When you want to play back albums in the Music Library in the song list order, select this. • Selected Range: C] appears on the display, and plays back songs only in the lists from which the playback starts (album list, artist list, etc.). (Default setting) To return to the previous menu Press the BACK/HOME button. Hints • You can select the playback range of songs from the Now Playing screen. While playing back songs, press the OPTION/PWR OFF button, and then select “Playback Range” from the Option menu. • The playback range differs, depending on the screen from which you start playback. For details, see “The list of play modes” page 48). O Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears. Notes • If your personal settings saved as “Custom 1” and “Custom 2” seem to produce a different volume level than the other settings, you may have to adjust the volume manually to compensate. • The “Equalizer” setting is not applied to the sound of the video. List of equalizer settings The sound settings appear on the screen as the letters in parentheses. Setting/icon Description None Sound quality setting is not activated. (Default setting) Heavy ( +t+ H ) Emphasizes high and low ranges for a powerful sound. Pop ( +t+ P ) Stresses the middle range audio, ideal for vocals. Jazz ( +t+ J ) Emphasizes high and low ranges for a lively sound. Unique ( +t+ U ) Emphasizes high and low ranges, so that a small sound can be listened easily. Custom 1 ( +t+ 1 ) User-customizable sound settings for which you can adjust each frequency range individually. See (& page 54 for details.
