It MUST be replaced immediately. WHAT THE GAUGE MEANS Your fire extinguisher is fully charged when the pin is within the central green section of the gauge. If the pin is within the red sections your extinguisher needs replacing. This extinguisher can be used on fires involving solid materials such as Wood, Paper, Textiles, etc This extinguisher can be used on fires involving flammable liquids eg Petrol, Oil, Fat, Paints, Solvents, Grease etc This extinguisher can be used on fires involving flammable gases eg Propane, Butane, Acetylene, Natural Gas etc This extinguisher can be used on fires involving Electrical Equipment FIRE RATING The fire rating (numbers listed in blue section of label eg 8A 34B) relates to the ‘size’ of fire that can be tackled by your extinguisher. The greater the numbers, the larger the fire that can be tackled This extinguisher meets all required performance and quality standards within the UK. This fire extinguisher container has been pressure tested and passed the required European standards INSTALLATION How to Assemble Extinguisher WARNING! Secure the mounting bracket with appropriate hardware to ensure the extinguisher cannot fall as personal injury damage may result. Wood screws (not provided) should be used for mounting requires special hardware (not provided) such as toggle bolts, mollies screws and inserts to ensure adequate strength.
