B Antenna Connection DAB/FM Antenna It is unnecessary to connect the DAB/FM antenna since it is fixed to the main unit. . Adjust the DAB/FM antenna for optimal FM and DAB reception. C Speakers Connection Front Speakers Connect the speaker wires to the SPEAKERS terminals, right speaker to "RIGHT" and left speaker to "LEFT", red wire to "+" and black wire to "-". 2 1 . Fully insert the stripped portion of the speaker wire into the terminal as shown. 7 Preparations English Notes: –For optimal sound performance, use the supplied speakers. – Do not connect more than one speaker to any one pair of +/- speaker terminals. – Do not connect speakers with an impedance lower than the speakers supplied. Please refer to the SPECIFICATIONS section of this manual. Inserting batteries into the Remote Control 1 Open the battery compartment. 2 Insert two R03 or AAA batteries (not supplied) following the indications (+/-) inside the compartment. 3 Close the cover. Using the Remote Control to operate the system 1 Aim the Remote Control directly at the remote sensor (IR) on the front panel. 2 Do not put any objects between the Remote Control and the system while operating the system. Controls on remote control 1 DISC/TUNER/DAB/AUX – selects the respective sound source for CD/FM/ DAB/AUX. – switches on the system. 2 SLEEP – activates/deactivates or selects the sleeper time. 3 TIMER – sets the timer function 4 MENU – in DAB mode, enables access to advance setup options. – in FM/DAB mode, press and hold to turn on or off clock synchronizing. 5 PROG for CD ................. programmes tracks and reviews the programme. for FM/DAB ...... activates radio programming. for FM/DAB ...... press and hold to store FM/DAB presets. 6 REPEAT – repeats a track/disc/all programmed tracks.
