Installing Plug-ins 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > SyncThru Update. The Upload Plug-in window appears. Updating Plug-ins 1.Open SyncThru™ Admin 5 with your web browser. Uninstalling Plug-ins 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > SyncThru Update. HTTP Security Configuring web server settings •To change the HTTP/HTTPS port number: From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > HTTP Security > Web Server Configuration > HTTP Port/HTTPS Port. •To enable the SSL: If you want to use a secure connection, you can use HTTPS by enabling the SSL. From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > HTTP Security > Web Server Configuration > Enable SSL. SSL&Certification Creating Certification •If the status is Certificate configured, there is already a certificate installed. In this case, you can see the details of the installed certificate with Certificate Details button (See"Viewing Certification" on page 73). •If the status is Certificate Not Configured, there is no certificate installed. Click Certificate Configuration. There are three options for certificate settings: -Create Self-Signed Certificate : Creates a certificate using SyncThru™ Admin 5’s provided functionality. -Prepare Certificate Request : Creates the certificate for the external certificate authority. -Upload Existing Certificate : Uploads the certificate already issued by the external or internal certificate authority. Viewing Certification Enabling SSL Connection (HTTPS) Disabling SSL Connection (HTTPS) Authentication Email settings Configuring SMTP server •SMTP Server : Type in your SMTP server address. •SMTP Port : Type in your SMTP server port number. •SMTP requires authentication : Check this box if you want authentication to be required to access the server. •SMTP Server Login : Fill in if SMTP Requires Authentication is enabled. •SMTP Server Password : Fill in if SMTP Requires Authentication is enabled. •From Address : Type in the email address that will be provided as the sender’s address. Testing the SMTP Server Configuring Email template for alert notification Adding a template 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > Email settings > Alert notification email template management. The Add Template window appears. You can see the template name in the Template List. Deleting a template 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > Email settings > Alert notification email template management. You can see that the template has disappeared from the Template List. Modifying a template 1.From SyncThru™ Admin 5, click Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > Email settings > Alert notification email template management.
