Uninstalling the SyncThru™ Admin 5 Device Map Plug-in The page is reloaded and Map has been removed as a menu option. Upgrading the SyncThru™ Admin 5 Device Map Plug-in 3.Quick start 1. Configuring the locations The Map Manager window appears. 2. Registering floor layout images to a location The Map Manager window appears. The Choose Map Floor Layout for “ Subplace” window appears. 3. Arranging devices 4.Configuring maps Creating Place and Subplace The Map Manager window appears. The Create Place window appears. If you have already created a Place, skip to step 6. Type in the Subplace Name and, if necessary, fill in the Description field. The Place and Subplace are now visible in the Place panel. Registering floor layout images The Map Manager window appears. The Choose Map Floor Layout Image for “ Subplace” window appears. •To upload your own image, click the and find your image and click Upload. You can also upload your images in the Settings menu > Settings > SyncThru Management > Map Floor Layout Images (See "Uploading floor layout image files" on page 19). •To remove any uploaded image, select it and click the button. If confirm messages appear, click OK. The floor layout is now applied to the selected Subplace. Arranging devices on the map You can move the device(s) on the map using the drag-and-drop function. •If you want to remove a device(s) from the map, choose the device and click the button located above the layout image. You can remove multiple devices at once by holding down the Ctrl key or Shift key. •You can add doors to the map if you click the Add Door Mark button next to the button. 5.Viewing a map Overview Viewing the location of a specific device Or from the Devices menu, you could go to one of the History tab menus: Configuration History, Firmware Upgrade History or File Storage History. You can select multiple devices at once by holding down the Ctrl or Shift key. Search On Map window appears. The list in the Search On Map window shows all the Place(s)/Subplace(s) where the selected device is included on maps. The page automatically moves to the Map Settings panel and you can see the related map for the selected device. Viewing map with place information You can see the map in the lower half of the panel. The map displays the status and IP address of each device.
