Recovery Manager 4.2.0 Patch 01 Requirements
NOTE:
This patch is only intended to be applied to systems with HP 3PAR Recovery Manager 4.2.0
Software for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 already installed.

NOTE:
The RMexch.exe file is applicable only for the Recovery Manager Backup Server and not
for the Production Server.
Installing the Recovery Manager Patch
This patch should be applied on both the Recovery Manager Backup Server and Production Server
(Exchange Server).
The 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange Service should not be running while installing this patch.
1.
Log on as the System Administrator.
2.
Stop the 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange Service. As an alternative, you can run: Net
stop RMExchAgent.
3.
Double click on RME_4.2.0_P01.msp to launch the installation wizard.
4.
Choose the Repair option and click Finish. (Selecting the Remove option will uninstall the existing
version of HP 3PAR Recovery Manager 4.2.0 Software for Microsoft Exchange Server.)
