Resumen del manual

This release notes document describes the modifications and known issues for Patch 20. This is a
recommended patch and is only intended to be applied to HP 3PAR OS 3.1.2.322 (MU1) with P05.
Only an authorized HP Service Provider should perform this maintenance procedure.
This patch (P20) eliminates potential timeouts during Remote Copy periodic synchronization operation.
It ensures that large data mover requests do not access invalid memory areas. It also avoids the timeout
of host inquiry commands to the HP 3PAR vendor unique LUN page during upgrades from HP 3PAR
OS version 3.1.1 to version 3.1.2.
1.1 Supported platforms
The HP 3PAR Configuration Matrix for HP 3PAR OS 3.1.2 contains information about supported
hardware and software platforms. For a list of supported versions of each operating system, see the
Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge (SPOCK) website http://www.hp.com/storage/spock.
1.2 Verifying the patch installation
The installation of Patch 20 can be verified from an Interactive CLI session. Issue the CLI command
showversion -a -b to verify that Patch 20 is listed.
