New handset registration This feature will help you to register a handset to a base unit. You can register 2 handsets to each base unit. Each handset can be registered to four base units. If your base unit already has two handsets registered, you should cancel one of the registrations before registering the new handset. Notes: 1. The handset you received with you package is already registered to your base unit. This feature is intended for when you want to register another handset or when you accidentally canceled the registration of your handset. 2. Before registering a handset check that its battery is fully charged and that it is located near the base unit. 3. You will be able to register only the Oval XD1200 and Oval Twin XD1200 handsets. At base unit: Press and hold the button [15] until a beep is heard and the "In Use" indicator [14] starts to flash. This means that the base unit has switched to the registration mode.
