To get the most from your new speaker system, please take a few Minutes to read the following instructions and familiarize yourself with the operation. Before setting up the unit, check that the following items are contained Within the box: 1. Alarm clock radio speaker system. 2. AC/DC power adaptor. 3. 3.5mm jack connector cable for auxiliary input. 4. FM antenna 5. iPod inserts: iPod Nano 5G.iPod Nano 4G.iPhone 3GS/3G iPhone.iPod Touch 2G Caution - Observe electrical safety at all times. - Do not allow the system to come into contact with water; do not operate the system with wet or damp hands. - When not in use, disconnect the AC/DC power adaptor from the mains supply. - Only use the AC/DC power adaptor supplied with this system. - This system contains no user-serviceable parts; do not attempt to modify the unit in any way. - This system uses delicate electronic components; avoid strong impacts or dropping any part of the system. Avoid placing the system adjacent to a CRT TV set. 1 Getting started Before connecting your unit to mains power, please insert two AA batteries into the bottom of the unit. This will allow your unit to retain the time and alarm settings when the power goes out. Once you have installed the batteries, please connect the power pack to the DC in jack at the back of the unit, then to the wall socket. As soon as the unit has power it will display 12:00. Audio modes Press the Audio button to cycle through the three audio modes. The Audio modes are: iPod/ iPhone, Radio and auxiliary. Setting the time To set the time on the unit, press and hold the Time set button on the top of the unit. Use the / to set the MONTH/DATE, Press the Time set button again will into the hour setting model, Use the / to set the HOURS and MINUTES. Press the time set button third time to exit. 3 Setting the Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 mode ALARM 1 Press the AL1 icon button on the unit, AL1 will appear at the bottom of the LCD display. Hold down AL1 icon button for 2 seconds to enter alarm1 setting mode, Press the / button will choose mode 1. Press it again will activate mode 2 . Press it third time will activate mode 3. Press the AL1 icon button again will activate hour setting mode, Press the / button will adjust time up and down. Press the AL1 icon button again will activate minute setting mode, Press the / button will adjust time up and down. Press the AL1 icon button again will activate the alarm sounds mode, Press the / button will choose the alarm sounds like beef or from radio or iPod. ALARM 2 After setting alarm times press AL1 again to turn on alarm 1, alarm 2 or both. AL1 or AL2 will appear on the LCD screen to notify you which alarm is activated. Snooze setting Press the snooze/dimmer button on the unit while the alarm rings will turn off the alarm for a nine minute interval. 4 Sleep mode setting In power on mode, press the sleep button to select 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes. The unit will turn off automatically after the selected period of time. Tuning the radio In power on mode, press audio button to choose radio mode, then use the set+/- to adjust the radio frequency(87.5-108). Volume and Backlight Setting To increase the volume, turn volume dial clockwise. Turn anti-clockwise to decrease. Max volume 40dB Change backlight Dimmer: Press dimmer button to change the brightness of backlight. Product specifications Recharge iPod/iPhone Dock and play directly. Built-in FM radio function.
