Does my PC have to be switched on? Not necessarily. If you have a broadband router with built-in Wi-Fi, you do not need to turn your PC on to receive internet radio on the AE Wi-Fi radio. The AE Wi-Fi radio connects directly to the internet without the use of a browser. Will it work with my Apple Mac computer? Yes. The AE Wi-Fi radio also works with Apple's Airport Wi-Fi connection to seamlessly link to the internet. The AE Wi-Fi radio will also stream and play music stored as mp3 files on your Mac. What if the Wi-Fi network in encrypted for security? If the AE Wi-Fi Radio detects an encrypted Wi-Fi network it simply asks you to enter the WEP key on the keypad before it accesses the internet. It will not connect to an encrypted network without the key.
