This eliminates having to wait for the handset battery to recharge. Please purchase a Panasonic P-P592 (KX-A92) battery and install it in the base unit to charge. Installing the spare battery in the base unit The spare battery is always being charged in the base unit while the AC adaptor is connected. The battery cannot be overcharged.
