Although it’s housed in a one-half DIN enclosure, the EQS750 still provides a number of powerful features in its compact size, including: • Seven equalization bands (at 30,120,250, and 500 Hz, and 1,5, and 12 kHz), adjustable from -12 to 12 dB (-15 to 15 dB for subwoofer frequencies) • Pop-out, edge back-lit, rotary EQ controls for convenient yet precise adjustments • High-pass and low-pass crossover filters with variable frequency controls from 30 to 200 Hz (set at 12 dB/octave slope for high-pass and 18 dB/octave slope for low-pass) • Three stereo RCA outputs to drive front, rear, and subwoofer audio systems • Auxiliary stereo RCA inputs with an adjustable 0 dB to +20 dB gain control to match the main input levels • Speaker-level stereo inputs to upgrade OEM source units OWNER'S MANUAL/INSTALLATION GUIDE • Separate controls for master volume, subwoofer volume, front/rear fader, and selection of main or auxiliary inputs • Stereo/mono subwoofer control to feed stereo or electronically-summed mono signals to the subwoofer system • Extended frequency response from 20 Hz to 30 kHz with exceptional 100 dB signal-to-noise performance • Gold-plated RCA connectors to ensure best signal transfer • ISO mounting holes and removable nose gasket About The Manual And Warranty To start enjoying your new Clarion EQS750, please read all remaining instructions listed in this manual. The EQS750 front panel controls. © VOLUME/FADER Controls To adjust master volume, rotate the inside control. To adjust subwoofer volume, rotate the outside control. To set fader position, pull and rotate the inside control and then push to release. © INPUT Button Press the button to select MAIN or AUXILIARY inputs. A red LED confirms a MAIN selection, while green confirms AUXILIARY is the choice. (D EQUALIZER Controls To adjust gain, push an equalizer control so it pops-out. Then rotate the control to a desired setting and press it in to help prevent unwanted changes during adjustment of other equalizer controls. 4 OWNER'S MANUAL/INSTALLATION GUIDE Description Of Rem Panel Connections/Controls Figure 2. NOTE: © MAIN IN L/R (2 -RCA Jacks) Use an RCA stereo audio cable (not supplied) to connect from source unit’s RCA outputs (200 mV to 4 V max.). © AUX IN L/R (2 -RCA Jacks) Use an RCA stereo audio cable (not supplied) to connect from source unit’s speaker outputs (500 mV to 5 V max.). © AUX IN LEVEL Control Rotate control to match gain to AUX IN level (from VCP, portable CD player, etc.) to MAIN IN level. For clarity, the RCA ouput pigtail is not shown (refer to next page/. ® LP FILTER/HP FILTER Controls Rotate desired control(s) to set crossover frequencies according to speaker manufacturer’s recommended values. © SUBWOOFER OUTPUT Switch Slide switch to MONO or STEREO for subwoofer mode. © FILTER Switch Slide to ON (OFF) to activate (deactivate) LP/HP Filter.
