Resumen del manual

GAuto setup flowH Step1: Speaker Detection Step2: Measurement Step3: Calculation Step4: Check Step5: Store Press o to start the MultEQ Auto Setup. The Audyssey MultEQ Auto Setup process automatically calculates the size, level, distance, bass management crossover frequency, and optimal settings for each speaker and subwoofer. Audyssey MultEQ corrects acoustical distortions within the listening area. Before starting, connect and position all your speakers. Once started, MultEQ will play a series of test tones through each speaker. If an error message appears during the measurements, check “Error Messages”, take the advised action, then start the measurements again (vpage 21). Step 1 : Speaker Detection The speaker connection and polarity are detected at the first measurement position. The following attributes are also determined at this time: “Speaker Size”, “Speaker Distance”, “Channel Level”, “Crossover Frequency”. Once the measurements are completed, “Sp Detect Check” is displayed. Press ENTER to check the results of the speaker detection. Example : 7.1-channel systems Speaker:3/4/.1 Subwoofer Surround and Surround back speakers Front and Center speakers • If the results are not as expected or if an error message is displayed, address any error as required, select “Retry” and perform the measurement again. • If the results of measurement are still not as expected or an error message is displayed, turn off the power switch and check the speaker connections. Then start measurements again from the beginning. • Loud test sounds may be played during Audyssey MultEQ Automatic Speaker Setup. This is part of normal operation. If there is background noise in room, these test signals will increase in volume. • Do not stand between the speakers and setup microphone or allow obstacles in the path while the measurements are being made. This will cause inaccurate readings. • Quiet the listening environment before beginning measurements and refrain from talking. Turn off air conditioning units or other devices that emit noise if at all possible as measurements may be affected by these sounds. • Operating MASTER VOLUME during the measurements will cancel the measurements. • Do not change the speaker connections or subwoofer volume after “Step 1”. Step 2 : Measurement q Press i to select “2nd Start”, then press o. • Measures the 2nd measurement position. w Move the microphone to the 3rd point and press o. • Measures the 3rd measurement position. e Perform w repeatedly. • To measure the remaining measurement positions. After completing a measurement position, move the microphone to the next position. Measure at 6 positions: the main listening position and 5 other surrounding positions. Although it is allowable to measure less than 6 positions, it is recommended to measure 6 for best results. Check the relevant items and be sure to take the necessary measures. After “Calculate” is displayed when you have completed measurements in 6 positions. To complete addressing any issues, perform the auto setup procedure over again. Step 2 in 5 or less positions, press i to select “Calculate”. The higher the number of speakers, the longer the time required for analysis. NOTE Do not change the speaker connections or subwoofer volume, or speaker locations after making measurements. These types of changes will invalidate the EQ solution provided. If changes are necessary, make the changes and use the Audyssey MultEQ Auto Setup once again for an updated EQ solution. Once the calculation is completed, a measuring result check (“Parameter Check”) is displayed. Press o to check the result. Press ui to select the item, then press o. Values that are different from the actual distance may be set for speakers with built-in filters (subwoofers, etc). This is because filters add electrical delay to the signal that should be compensated. The auto setup measurement results are stored in the AVR-688 or cancelled. After checking, press ENTER to select “Store”, then press ui to select “Store” o...
