Este aparato se enmarca dentro de la clase I de seguridad y se encuentra protegido por una borna de puesta a tierra. Es preciso que exista una puesta a tierra continua desde la toma de alimentacion electrica hasta las bornas de los cables de entrada del aparato, el cable de alimentacion o el juego de cable de alimentacion suministrado.
