Within green zone OVERLAPPED SEAM Box stitch is ideal for producing flat overlapped seams on almost any type of fabric and a bolder effect wilt result from sewing with a contrasting thread. Overlap the raw edges of two pieces of fabric 2" and pin or tack. Place the fabric right side up with the middle of the overlap under the center of the presser foot, so that the stitch sews just over the top and bottom raw edges. Use this stretch stitcl_ with knit or synthetic fabric. Sew as you do with regular straight stitch. This is also a good stitch to use on curved seams regardless of the type of fabric.
