Resumen del manual
A polarized extension cord will require the use of a polarized wall outlet. This plug will fit into the polarized wall outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully into the wall outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper wall outlet. Do not change the equipment plug, extension cord receptacle, or extension cord plug in any way. D Do not attempt to repair unit. Inspect the insulation and connectors on the powerhead and extension cord before each use. If there is any damage, do not use until damage is repaired by your authorized service dealer. D Do not pull or carry by cord; do not use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord. D Do not use the powerhead if the switch does not turn the unit on and off properly. - -- Have the unit repaired by your authorized service dealer. D Keep the extension cord clear of operator and obstacles at all times. Do not expose cords to heat, oil, water, or sharp edges. D Avoid any body contact with any grounded conductor, such as metal fences, or pipes, to avoid the possibility of electric shock. Don’t handle plug or unit with wet hands. D Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If powerhead is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to your authorized service dealer for repair. D Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the circuit or outlet to be used for the powerhead. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection and may be used for this measure of safety. DOUBLE INSULATION CONSTRUCTION Your powerhead should be double insulated to help protect against electric shock. Double insulation construction consists of two separate “layers” of electrical insulation instead of grounding. Tools and appliances built with a double insulation system are not intended to be grounded.Safety precautions must be observed when operating any electrical tool. The double insulation system only provides added protection against injury resulting from an internal electrical insulation failure. WARNING: All repairs to an electric powerhead, including housing, switch, motor, etc., must be diagnosed and repaired by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace. A double insulated appliance is marked with the words “double insulation” or “double insulated”. The symbol (square within a square) may also be marked on the appliance. Failure to have the unit repaired by your authorized service dealer can cause the double insulation construction to become ineffective and result in serious injury. BLOWER SAFETY WARNING: Never put hands or other objects into blower housing to avoid serious injury from the rotating impeller. WARNING: Inspect the area before using the unit. Remove all debris and hard objects such as rocks, glass, wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown, or otherwise cause injury or damage during operation. S Inspect attachment before each use for worn, loose, missing, or damaged parts. Do not use until unit is in proper working order. S Keep outside surfaces free from oil and fuel. S Never start or run engine inside a closed room, building or other unventilated area. Breathing exhaust fumes can kill. --3 S Avoid dangerous environments. Do not use in unventilated areas or where explosive vapors or carbon monoxide build- --up could be present. S Do not set unit on any surface except a clean, hard area while engine is running. Debris such as gravel, sand, dust, grass, etc. could be picked up by the air intake and thrown out through discharge opening, damaging unit, property, or causing serious injury to bystanders or operator. S Do not overreach or use from unstable surfaces such as ladders, trees, steep slopes, rooftops, etc. Keep firm footing and balance at all times. S Never place objects inside the discharge opening; always direct the blowing debris away from people, animals, glass, and solid objects such as trees, automobiles, walls, etc. The force of air can cause rocks, dirt, or sticks to be thrown or to ricochet which can hurt people or animals, break glass, or cause other damage. S Check air intake opening frequently. Keep vents and discharge opening free of debris which can accumulate and restrict proper air flow. S Never place any object in air intake opening as this could restrict proper air flow and cause damage to the unit. S Never use for spreading chemicals, fertilizers, or other substances which may contain toxic materials. S To avoid spreading fire, do not use near leaf or brush fires, fireplaces, barbecue pits, ashtrays, etc. S Wear hearing protection. S Use only in daylight or good artificial light. S Use only for jobs explained in this manual. MAINTAIN YOUR UNIT PROPERLY WARNING: Discon...
