Using Bluetooth 1 Ensure Bluetooth is switched On 01 and Visible for both your PC and 02 KF750. 2 Pair your PC and KF750 so that a 03 passcode is required for connection. 04 3 Use the Connection wizard on your LG PC Suite to create an active 05 Bluetooth connection. 06 4 Click Communication on your PC. Then click Settings. 07 5 Click Modem. 08 6 Choose Standard Modem over Bluetooth link and click OK. It will now appear on screen. 7 Click Connect and your PC will connect through your KF750. The web Settings Settings Within this folder you can adapt your settings to personalise your KF750. NOTE: For information on call settings see page 20. Changing your screen settings 1 From the standby screen, press , then Settings. 2 Select Display settings and then choose from: Home screen theme - Choose the theme for your standby screen or start-up, power off the phone. Menu style - Set the style used to display the menu. Dialling - Set the display used when making a call. Font - Adjust the font colour. Backlight - Choose how long the backlight remains on for. NOTE: The longer the backlight is on for, the more battery power is used and you may need to charge your phone more often. Image quality enhancement - Choosed the menu to enhance the quality of the selected image. Handset theme - Quickly change the whole look of your screen. Greeting message - Input the greeting message you get when switching on your phone. 3 Choose Select to save your settings. Personalising your profiles You can quickly change your profile on the standby screen. Simply touch the currently active profile icon in the top right corner. Using the settings menu you can personalise each profile setting. 1 From the standby screen, press , then Settings. 2 Select Profiles and then choose the profile you want to edit. You cannot edit the Silent profile. 3 Select Options and choose Edit. 4 You can then change all of the sounds and alert options available in the list, including your Ring tone and Volume, Message alerts and more. LG KF750 | User Guide Changing your phone settings Enjoy the freedom of adapting your KF750 so that it works in a way which suits you best. 1 From the standby screen, press . 2 Select Phone settings then choose from the list below. Date & Time - Adjust your date and time settings or choose to auto update the time when you travel or for daylight saving. Languages - Change the language of your KF750’s display. Auto key lock - Lock the keypad automatically in standby screen. Touchpad - Set the touchpad to vibrate. Touch screen effect - Set the effect tone used when touching the screen. Security - Set the phone to ask for the PIN code of your SIM card when switching on the phone. Handset lock - Set the phone lock to avoid unauthorised use of the phone. You will need a security code. Power save - Choose to switch the factory set power saving settings 01 On or Off. 02 Memory manager - See Using memory manager on page 74 for 03 more information 04 Primary storage setting - Set the primary storage as handset memory 05 or external memory. Information - View the technical 06 information for your KF750. 07 Reset settings - Reset all the settings to their factory definitions. 08 Changing your connectivity settings Your connectivity settings have already been set up by your network operator, so you can enjoy your new phone from the off. If you want to change any settings, use this menu. From the standby screen, press and select Settings, then Connectivity. Bluetooth - Set up your KF750 for Bluetooth use. You can adapt your visibility to other devices or search through devices you’re paired with. Settings Settings Synchronisation - See page 66 for more information on synchronisation. USB connection mode - Choose Data service and synchronise your KF750 using the LG PC Suite software to copy files from your phone. See page 66 for more information on synchronisation. TV out - Choose PAL or NTSC for connecting your KF750 to a TV. NOTE: The TV output cable is available for purchase separately. PIN for DivX connection on PC- Set the PIN code to connect DivX converter. Network - Your KF750 connects automatically to your preferred network. To change these settings use this menu. Internet profile - Set the profiles for connecting to the internet. Access points - Your network operator has already saved this information. You can add new access points using this menu. Packet data conn.- Set the packet data connection.
