Using video options After saving a video clip, press the left soft key to access the following options: • Play: play back the video clip. • Record another: return to Record mode. • Send: send the video clip via MMS. • Delete: delete the video clip. • Rename: change the name of the video clip. • My videos: go to the Videos folder. • Details: access information about the video clip. Settings (Menu 9) Use this menu to customise your phone settings. You can also reset the settings to their default values. To access this menu, press < Menu> in Idle mode and select Settings. Phone settings (Menu 9.1) Many different features of your phone’s system can be customised to suit your preferences. Phone profiles (Menu 9.1.1) Use this menu to adjust and customise the phone tone for different events or situations. Changing the profiles 1. On the Phone profiles screen, select a profile. 2. Press < Options> and select Save. Customising the profiles 1. Select a profile and press < Options>. 2. Select Edit. 3. Change the settings in the following fields: • Call alert type: select the alert type for the call ringer. • Voice call/ V-call ringtone: select a ringtone for voice calls or video calls. • Tone volume: adjust the volume level of the alert tones. • Msg. alert type: select the alert type for the message ringer. • Msg. alert tone: select the melody or tone to be used. • Msg. alert repetition: specify how often the phone informs you of a new message. • Phone sounds: turn the following alert sounds on or off. All: enable all tones. Popup box alerts: cause the phone to beep when a pop-up window displays. Minute minder: cause the phone to beep every minute during an outgoing call to keep you informed of the length your call. Menu functions Settings (Menu 9) Menu functions Call connect tone: cause the phone to beep when it connected to the system. Call end tone: cause the phone to beep when the other person ends a call. Power on: cause the phone to beep when you turn on the phone. Sound effect: cause the phone to beep when you access the menu. Alerts on call: cause the phone to beep when you receive a new message or when the time for an alarm comes during a call. • Keytones: select a tone which sounds when you press a key. • Keytone volume: adjust the volume level of the key tones. • Call answer mode: set how to answer a incoming call. Language (Menu 9.1.2) Use this menu to select one of several languages for the display text or T9 input mode. Assign rintone (Menu 9.1 3) Use this menu to change the alert type and assign a ring tone for each event on your phone, separately from profile settings. .. p. 75 Shortcuts (Menu 9.1.4) You can use the Navigation keys as shortcut keys to access specific menus directly from Idle mode. Use this menu to change these shortcut assignments. Assigning a shortcut to a key 1. Select the key to be used as a shortcut key. 2. Select the menu that will be assigned to the key. 3. Press < Save>. Using the shortcut options From the Shortcuts screen, press < Options> to access the following options: • Assign: assign a shortcut menu to an empty location. • Change: change a shortcut menu. • Remove: deactivate the shortcut assignment to the selected key. • Remove all: deactivate all of the shortcut assignments. Time & Date (Menu 9.1.5) Use this menu to change the time and date displayed on your phone. Before setting the time and date, specify your time zone in the World clock menu. .. p. 64 • Date: enter the current date. • Time: enter the current time. • Time format: select a 12- hour or 24-hour time format. • Date format: select a date format. • Daylight saving: activate daylight savings time. • Start on Sunday: change the starting date on the calendar to Sunday. Auto keypad lock (Menu 9.1.6) Use this menu to set the keypad to automatically lock after the specified time. Any key answer (Menu 9.1.7) Use this menu to answer an incoming call by pressing any key, except [ ] or < Reject>. Rotation preview (Menu 9.1.8) Use this menu to select whether or not the phone accesses Camera preview mode when you rotate the phone’s screen in Idle mode. Master reset ( Menu 9.1.9) Use this menu to reset the phone to its default settings. 1. Enter the phone password and press < Confirm>. The password is preset to 00000000.
