Position O to Reset programme/ Switching OFF of the machine. At the end of the programme the selector dial must be turned to position O, to switch the machine off. Attention! If you turn the programme selector dial to another programme when the machine is working, the lights of the programme progress display start to flash. The machine will not perform the new selected programme. Select the required temperature Turn the temperature selector dial to select the washing temperature. Maximum temperatures are 95°C for cottons, 60°-50°C for synthetic fabrics, 40°C for delicate fabrics, wool and fabrics to be hand-washed. By selecting position (Cold) the machine will wash with cold water. To be used for extremely delicate items, such as curtains Programme Option buttons Depending on the programme, different functions can be combined. These must be selected after choosing the desired programme and before depressing the Start/Pause button. When these buttons are pressed, the corresponding pilot lights come on. When they are pressed again, the pilot lights go out. Select the spin speed or Night Cycle or Rinse Hold option Turn the spin speed selector on desired position. You could also choose the position “No spin”, (only for AWF5120W) “Rinse Hold” or “Night Cycle”. At the end of the program, the selector dial must be turned to position O, to switch the machine off. In the all levels of spin, the sound is reduced and your appliance could be used at night without any inconvenience, to take advantage of off- peak rates. The relevant light will light up. You can select 3 different options: Prewash: select this option if you wish your laundry to be prewashed at 30°C before the main wash (not available for Handwash). The prewash ends with a short spin in programmes for cotton and synthetic fabrics whereas in the programmes for delicate fabrics the water is only drained. Eco: This option can be selected to choose a program with a more economical washing cycle. You can select this option with cottons (40.-90.) and synthetic (40.-60.) programs. It is not available with the option "Super Quick". Super Quick: a very short cycle for slightly soiled items that have been used or worn for a short time. This option is not available with the Handwash programs and Eco option. If an option is chosen that is not allowed with the selected programme, the red pilot light of the START/PAUSE button will flash 3 times. use 39 Select the AquaCare option This button can be selected with all programmes except the wool and hand wash programmes. The machine performs 5 rinses instead of 3. This option is recommended for people who are allergic to detergents, and in areas where the water is very soft. Select the Start/Pause To start the selected programme, press the “start/pause” button; the corresponding green pilot light stops flashing. The “wash” and “door” lights are on to indicate that the appliance starts operating and the door is locked. If you have chosen a delayed start, the machine will begin the countdown. If an incorrect option is selected, an integrated red pilot light of the “start/ pause” button flashes for 3 times. Select the Delay start Before you start the programme, if you wish to delay the start, press the Delay Start button repeatedly, to select the desired delay. The relevant light illuminates. This button makes it possible to delay the starting of the washing programme by 9, 6 and 3 hours. You must select this option after you have set the programme and before you press the Start/Pause button. You can cancel the delay time at any moment, before you press the Start/Pause button. If you have already pressed the Start/Pause button, and you wish to cancel the delay time, proceed as follows: • set the washing machine to PAUSE by pressing the Start/Pause button; • press the Delay Start button once, the light relevant to the selected delay goes off. • press the Start/Pause button again to start the programme. Important! • The selected delay can be changed only after selecting the washing programme again. • The door will be locked throughout the delay time. If you need to open the door, you must first set the washing machine to PAUSE by pressing the Start/Pause button and then wait about 2 minutes.
